In carrying out its commitment to grow and develop with the community, PT Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk again contributed by dissecting residents’ houses that were no longer suitable for habitation in Purbatua Village, Borbor District, Toba Regency, Wednesday (11/11). /2020).

Initially this program was implemented because of a proposal from the Purbatua Village Government to carry out a House Renovation Program for uninhabitable houses and selected three houses that did require more attention.

Murdin Pane as the Head of Purbatua Village with a population of 160 families said there are still many villagers who live in houses in uninhabitable conditions. However, with a positive response from PT Toba Pulp Lestari, its residents can live comfortably after receiving home renovations.

In this Home Surgery Program, there were 3 families who received it, namely Freddy Pardosi, Hasoholan Pane, and Parulian Silitonga. These three families live in very poor housing conditions. The houses are still grounded, tile roofs with gaping holes and also do not have bathrooms.

Freddy Pardosi, one of the Home Surgery recipients said that for 10 years he and his family had lived in very poor housing conditions. Moreover, every time it rains, the house inhabited by 8 family members will be flooded so that the house becomes muddy and muddy. Two other families who received the Home Surgery Program felt the same way.

“Now we don’t have to be afraid anymore if it rains, we are more comfortable and happy to live in our new house,” said Freddy.
